Lots of new stuff to talk about including
both Bucky AND Garrett Bateman being behind the wheel of
nostlgia Funny Cars. Bucky has put off bringing out the
new the A/Fueler for this year, and instead put Garrett
in the seat of the Plueger/Gyger Mustang. What a formidable
duo they will be. Stay tuned for more news
2008 wrap up
What a great season for Bucky Austin and
the Plueger/Austin team. It was also a great last month
for the "Hitter" on a personal level, as he took
over the reigns of the fabled Spokane drag strip, one of
the last true outlaw tracks in the North West. It will be
outlaw no longer, as the facility will be an NHRA sanctioned
track with a number of NHRA events planned for the 2009
season.

Tucson: Winner (defeated Del Worsham)
Mission : Qualified #1 R/U (in quickest
side by side run in NFC history (Lost to team mate Mike
Grekul)
Boise : Qualified #2 (.001 behind team
mate Mike Grekul) wheel stood it big time in round one
Hot Rod Reunion: Winner Qualified #1(defeated
Chris Krabill & shattered et record)
Match raced at Edmonton and at Calgary
as well.
Series champion in the Heritage series,
and this year he ran over 50% of the quickest ets in the
class in 2008.
